KDEgames meeting

April 6, 2008

The monthly KDEgames meeting took place from 18:00 through 19:45 UTC on the #kdegames channel in Freenode IRC. It was amazing to see how progress goes on at an overwhelming speed. From my point of view, the most interesting discussion was on whether kde.org needs an own server for DXS (the server side of KNewStuff). Also, there were many new developers, and the Google Summer of Code promises yet more to come. All in all, it’s a very pulsating community around games in KDE, and I’m proud to be part of it.
